CHOOSE AN ADVENTURE: annual passes to the Adventure Center of Asheville Zipping For AutismAsheville Haunted Trail Adventure Mountain Off-Road Tours

Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, an exciting Asheville attraction,  is an aerial challenge course in the trees that has over 77 unique climbing, rolling, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked into a wooded park for ages 4 and over. These challenge elements are divided into 7 different aerial adventure trails ranging from beginner to challenging levels.  There are several elements that are representative of the activities you can do in North Carolina including a sky kayak, a parkway tunnel, a snowboard in the sky, swinging hula hoops, bumper boats and a zip hang glider, all in the trees that make this a “Truly Asheville Adventure.”

Before you start your adventure, we train you how to use our state-of-the-art equipment with a fun training video (see below) and an equipment fitting (full body harness, helmet, and safe lock clips.) We use a new technology called “smart belays” that, when used properly, are designed to assure Park Guests are attached to safety systems at all times and cannot detach from the system until they have completed the aerial trail and are back on the ground. Guests can explore freely knowing the safety system monitors their attachments and is designed to not allow accidental unclipping from the safety points. So your 2 hour trip time includes watching our video, gear up, practice and climbing time.

The Treetops Park is Challenge by Choice! Adults and youth age 15 and older can choose between our lower trails (Green & Blue) or our Intermediate Trails (Yellow & Orange) or our Expert Trails (Red & Black).  Kids age 7-14 must choose between their age-appropriate trails. And kids age 4-6 will start on the Purple Trail (a trail that starts on the ground just for their size) then they have the option of climbing the Green and Blue Trails with an adult. (See our chart below.) We guarantee that everyone will get to climb at least 2 trails!

And don’t think this is just a park for kids!  The lower trails are perfect for kids or those adults who are more cautious.  Our Red and Black Trails that are 40-50 feet in the air are a great challenge for those looking for some Ninja Warrior fun! We have a great adventure level for everyone!

What Our Recent Treetops Adventure Park Guests Are Saying…

“Highly recommend Adventure Center of AVL. I went with my boyfriend and 11-yr old son. We did the Treetops Adventure. The staff is friendly and the establishment is COVID-19 conscious. Masks are worn in the check in area and on the course while around others. Once you’re up in the trees, you can take your mask off and continue with your own group. Hand sanitizer is applied each time you enter a new course. It felt great to get outside and do something fun!!”

Jane D.

“We had a great time! Our only complaint is that it didn’t last longer. The kids were asking when we were going to get to come back before we even had our gear off. We really appreciated that there were several courses for all ages since we had a wide age range in our group.

Thanks again for helping us organize our group outing!”
