Why: Jeff and Sheena Greiner, two of the owners of the Adventure Center of Asheville, wanted to give back to the organization that has served their son over the years. All proceeds raised by individuals and teams will go to the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) to offer respite, increase advocacy and diagnostic services, and to assist families in our region. To form a team, register online at www.zippingforautism.com . Register a team of up to 10 people, raise at least $800 in donations prior to June 4th and your team will be scheduled for a two-hour ziplining tour at our event. Teams that raise $1,100 or more will enjoy both the ziplining and a two-hour adventure at Asheville Treetops Adventure Park. Teams can be comprised of adults and youth, but all Zippers must be age 10 and over and weigh between 70-250 lbs. All Adventure Park participants must be over age 4 and under 265 lbs. If you cannot participate that day, you can also donate or sponsor a team on the website. |
