KidZip

KidZip is Asheville’s greatest kid’s adventure! Bring the whole family to experience all of the Adventure Center of Asheville.

Kid Zip is America’s first zipline adventure designed for kids 4-10 years old. It includes 9 Ziplines and 4 fun climbing elements. It is a self-guided tour with the exception of an adult escort.  The ziplines range from 50 feet to 250 feet long.  They range from 25 feet high to ground level. Reservations are suggested!

KOLO Bike Park

Did you say Kolo? Yes, it rhymes with flow. Here you’ll find about 4 miles of purpose -built mountain bike trail on rolling terrain designed for all levels of rider to experience flow.

Programs & Camps all year long!

ACA offers programs just for Kids all year long!  Fall 2023, Kolo Bike Park offers a monthly afterschool club in September, October and November. AND Fall Saturday Shred Sessions.

Mountain Bike & eBike Rentals

Bike rentals are available for use both at the park or for your own Asheville cycling adventure anywhere in our Western North Carolina mountains. We’ll be glad to tell you where to find some other great Asheville biking trails and roads.

Our inventory of available bicycles for rent includes front suspension mountain bikes, dual suspension mountain bikes, kid’s bikes, road bikes, city/comfort bikes, and even Mountain eBikes!

Our bike rentals and E-MTB rentals can be used at our park, or around the many Ebike friendly destinations in Western North Carolina.

Adventure Mountain Off-Road Tours

Experience our ultimate driving (and riding) off-road experience at Adventure Moutain in Barnardsville, NC, just 20 minutes from Asheville.

At the Adventure Center of Asheville, there are so many unique outdoor Birthday Party options in one location at our Kid Zip, Treetops Adventure Park, and Kolo Bike Park!

Stepping out of your comfort zone and riding a hang glider that is 30 feet in the air or zipping off a 25-foot platform or crushing a berm or gap jump is an exhilarating experience that the birthday boy or girl, their family, and friends will not forget!

The Treetops Adventure Park/KidZip Annual Pass is the best value for the most fun all year long. Enjoy unlimited climbs at the Asheville Treetops Adventure Park and zipping at KidZip for an ENTIRE YEAR. The annual pass is $219/person and cannot be combined with any other discount offers or coupons. It continues to be non-transferable.

Or if you prefer mountain biking, $199/year gets you unlimited access to enjoy riding at Kolo Bike Park for an Entire Year!

Use your Kolo Bike Park pass any day that Kolo Bike Park is open. It includes all trails, Littleville (as age-appropriate), jump line access, and pump tracks.

Winter Wonder Walk

December 15-16, 27-30, 2023

The Adventure Center of Asheville is excited to host the 3rd Annual Winter Wonder Walk. 

Celebrate the Wonder of Winter with a live-action immersive story-walk on an OUTDOOR trail complete with live characters, lights, and a blustery guest, Jack Frost.  The Winter Wonder Walk follows the pages of the storybook of Winterland- full of holiday magic for all ages!  Guests will set out on a quest through the kingdom of Winterland to find Jack Frost and the Sugar Plum Fairy and stop a terrible blizzard while meeting many wonderful characters along the way.    

Created by Asheville Plays, Winter Wonder Walk is hosted by the Adventure Center of Asheville for the 3rd year.   

Families can also enjoy a holiday market, filled with locally made unique gifts, a kids’ play area, and a warm festival tent buzzing with local vendors, tasty concessions, and activities for the whole family.

Don’t miss out on the Treetops Adventure Park Glow Trail, which will be available for guests age 4 years or older! Climb on two of our AERIAL trails while they are illuminated with thousands of colorful twinkle and laser lights.   This is available with a combo pass only! Please review the Glow Trail Section on this page for age requirements and adult escorts.  

Doors and festivities open at 6pm each night.  The aerial Glow Trail will open at 6pm.  The Winter Wonder Walk will open at 6:30 pm, with the last entrance to the Winter Wonder Walk at 8:30.

This event supports our entire community by raising money for meals for Manna Foodbank with our Memories Making Meals program.  Every ticket purchased donates $1 or 4 meals!
