Well, look no further… The Adventure Center of Asheville offers Asheville’s Best Outdoor Adventures, just 5 minutes from downtown. Enjoy expansive views of the Asheville skyline from Asheville Zipline Canopy Adventures or hop on one of our top-end mountain bikes and learn the meaning of “flow” on our on-site trail system created and groomed for the KOLO Bike Park. Looking for a unique and exciting challenge? Then head up into the trees at Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, an elevated obstacle course with five levels of difficulty. Bringing the kids? Check out KidZip, America’s first zipline adventure designed for kids under 10.

If an off-road adventure exploring the history and scenery of Western NC and experiencing the treacherous terrain settlers and farmers tamed and cultivated sounds like fun, check out our Adventure Mountain Off Road Tours in Barnardsville, NC. Drive or Ride our Guided Tours in 4-person Off-Road Vehicles (ORVs) on 200 acres of scenic mountain trails climbing up 1,400 feet on Adventure Mountain to old settler homestead ruins and mountain top life with an elevation of 4,200 feet at the peak, Adventure Mountain off-road trails travel through hardwood forests and time as we climb the steep and rocky slopes on trails once ridden by wagon and powered by farm mules (The original source of “Horse Power”!) To prepare for this historic adventure, start with a training area to develop your confidence managing your off-road vehicle. Then follow our guide for hours of fun and discovery on narrow trails that lead over, thru, and to rock and log obstacles, hill climbs, mountainside farm-steading sites and spectacular views.
