Located just five minutes from downtown Asheville, NC, the Adventure Center features a zipline canopy tour, a bike park, an adventure park, and Kid Zip, America’s first zipline adventure designed for children under 10. Our full zipline canopy tour takes guests on a 2-3 hour tour across 11 ziplines, 3 sky bridges, and incredible views of downtown Asheville and the surrounding mountains. We also offer an Express tour, which includes 7 zips and one suspension bridge (approx 1-2 hours).
Job Description: Zipline Canopy Tour Rangers assist Adventure Center of Asheville guests taking our Zipline Canopy Tour. You’ll work as part of a professional but fun-loving team of folks who enjoy working outdoors and helping diverse individuals meet new challenges and face their fears.
Experience in the outdoor industry preferred but not necessary. What is most important is that you enjoy working with people!
Dates of Employment/Remuneration: Trainings will occur in early March and late May. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available March – August and June – August, with possibility to extend contract through November. Hourly wages DOE.

Overview of Organization: The Adventure Center of Asheville provides high-flying fun for guests of all ages. Located just five minutes from downtown Asheville, NC, the Adventure Center features many activities for people ages 4-104. We offer a zipline canopy tour, a bike park, an adventure park, and Kid Zip, America’s first zipline adventure designed for children under 10. The Adventure Park is an aerial obstacle course with over 60 elements spread throughout five courses ranging from 12-60 feet high.
Job Description: Treetops Adventure Park Rangers assist guests visiting the Adventure Park and KidZip. You’ll work as part of a professional but fun-loving team of folks who enjoy working outdoors and helping diverse individuals meet new challenges and face their fears.
Experience in the outdoor industry preferred but not necessary. Must be at least 18 years old
Dates of Employment/Remuneration: Trainings will occur in early March and late May. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available March – August and June – August, with possibility to extend contract through November. Hourly wages DOE. Upon hiring and building experience with the company, lead ranger positions are available along with pay increases. Additionally, there are several perks that come along with working for the Wildwater family and name, such as free or heavily discounted Zip and/or rafting trips at our other locations.
Other experience should include: good bicycle mechanical skills, customer service, trail maintenance, basic labor and be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. This is a full time seasonal job. Good perks!
Overview of Organization: The Adventure Center of Asheville provides high-flying fun for guests of all ages. Located just five minutes from downtown Asheville, NC, the Adventure Center features a zipline canopy tour, a bike park, an adventure park, and Kid Zip (America’s first zipline adventure designed for children under 10). During the summer, we offer three day camps: Kolo Bike Camp, Kolo Kiddie Camp and Adventure Camp (June 7-Aug 9, 2021). And during Spring Break (April 5-9, 2021), we offer a daily Adventure Camp. During Adventure Camp youth between 8-15 participate in a different adventure activity everyday including: ziplining, rafting, tree climbing, biking, and exploring an aerial obstacle course.
Dates of Employment/Remuneration: Adventure Camp runs from June through mid-August, Monday thru Friday. Includes one week of training in June. Hourly wages DOE.
Job Description: Counselors lead campers to assigned adventure activity and assist guides with facilitation. Before and after daily adventure activity, counselors lead campers in games and other activities. Counselors are expected to stay engaged with campers throughout the duration of the day, and to engage with the parents at the beginning and end of the day.

All of our activities are open with suggested reservations, amended attendance and schedules, extensive COVID-19 protocols (including wearing face coverings with NO EXEMPTIONS), social distancing and extensive cleaning procedures. You can find the latest information here.
