Our first ever Spring Break Adventure Camp is the perfect opportunity for families who want to stay local for spring break, without sacrificing the adventure! For April 5th – 9th, 2021, we will be hosting daily adventures for campers ages 8-15.
Campers will also experience camp classics such as team building challenges, making crafts, engaging in games and competitions, and age-appropriate outdoor education immersive learning activities designed to connect campers to nature.
2021 Spring Break and Summer Adventure Camps will be under the leadership of our new Camp Director, Lauren Brown, who joined us last year as the co-director of our Adventure Afterschool program. With a B.S. degree in Environmental Science and 12 years experience working at summer camps, we are excited to share Lauren’s passion for the environment, science and the fun of camp!
Our camps offer campers the ability to make connections with those their age, in their local community while having some epic outdoor fun! Campers leave every day with a smile on their face, and ready for the next adventure!

Our urban zipline canopy tours are available for private trips with two options. The Full Tour is a trip with 11 ziplines and 3 sky bridges in treetop platforms on several large adventure towers with mountain and skyline views of Asheville. It includes the Skyline zip where you fly side-by-side with a friend for 1,200 feet. The three sky bridges are opportunities to slow down and look around in our largest trees to learn about the history of the city and the trees. Join us Saturdays this Spring from 10-4pm for our awesome Spring Shred Sessions. These outdoor facilitated programs by experienced mountain bike counselors are for riders ages 8-15 to refine their bike skills, build confidence on pump tracks, berms and jumps and have fun with other mountain bikers. Campers must be comfortable riding bikes on purpose-built and natural trails and pump tracks.

During the amended school schedule, join the Kolo Afterschool Bike Club to grow your skills and enjoy fun afternoons on bikes! Spend the afternoon working on bike handling and riding all the trails and features of the park. Students must be comfortable riding bikes off-road, as this is not a club to teach kids how to ride or for beginners.
Kolo is excited to be able to offer local students a great afternoon activity in an open-air environment on over 100 acres. Come shred and enjoy mountain biking with us!

During the special evening Treetops Adventure Park climbs, watch the world transform from dusk to night while climbing in the trees. Trails will be illuminated to give climbing the obstacles a new perspective. Over 15,000 colored lights, plus colorful lasers sparkling on thousands of leaves, cables, rope, and platforms throughout the park will create a mystical tree climbing experience like you can’t imagine.
