Based on the most recent CDC guidelines and Buncombe County mandates, face coverings are no longer required at the Adventure Center of Asheville for Guests that have completed their vaccine regimen and waiting period while you are outside.
Regardless of vaccine status, when you are inside at our Welcome Center or bathrooms, face coverings are mandatory.
If you have not completed the vaccination process, we request you wear a face covering at our activities, as you will have periods of time when you will not be able to social distance from our staff or other guests. We will provide opportunities to unmask when social distancing is possible.
Our staff may or may not be wearing face coverings, however, you can request it at any time during your activity.
For those children attending our Programs and Clubs, please check out our Camps/Afterschool page.
Before check-in, please do a self-check pre-screen. If you answer yes to any of the questions below, please cancel your reservation. Our screening questions will include:
- Have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 20 days?
- Have you or anyone in your household had a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, new loss of taste or smell in the last 14 days?
- Have you been in close contact (within 6 feet for at least 10 minutes) to anyone who has these symptoms or has been tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days and do not have a recent COVID-19 negative test?
