Kolo Bike Park Reopening
Kolo Bike Park at the Adventure Center of Asheville will reopen on Saturday, April 18, 2020 with amended attendance and safety precautions. The current operating days and hours will be Thursday to Sunday weekly with 2 riding sessions daily at 10:00-2:00 and 2:00-6:00.
As biking is included as a current activity that residents can continue in the Buncombe County Stay Home-Stay Safe Order, we have also received direct notification from the Buncombe County Health & Human Services Department that our bike trails can operate with certain conditions:
- we assure social distancing
- do not allow group rides
- a household can come bike together
- friends can bike together with social distancing
- people are NOT allowed to congregate Our intention is to remain open to serve our Guests and employ our team as long as Guests support these restrictions and follow stringent social distancing. It is known that being outdoors in fresh air has many positive effects on general health. Kolo Bike Park will adhere to very limited need for interaction with others.
