Schools-Out Adventure Afterschool and Kolo Bike Park Club for kids ages 5-15 this September
To get the wiggles out during an online school day, we are offering outdoor afterschool programs to supplement the school day to get your kids outside into the fresh air at our on-site 100 acres in Asheville. Following our popular summer camp programs, offering a supplemental fall schedule for kids to get off screens, exercise, and have fun just seemed like a great opportunity for families this fall. Programs may continue into October depending on the local school schedules.
We’re Offering 2 Program Options
Adventure Afterschool
Afterschool Fall Fun! Weekly programs designed to supplement an altered school day by providing outdoor, immersive adventures for your 5-8 or 9-15 year-old student. Under the care of our trained adventure staff, participants will explore over 100 acres of beautiful mountain space, conduct experiments while they traverse high ropes and team-building elements, and climb trees combining experimental science with high adventure. Come join us for an unforgettable fall adventure! $129/week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays- Ages 5-8 years old: 12:00 pm-2:45 pm
- Ages 9-15 years old: 3:00 pm-6:00 pm
- Weekly from August 31-October 2 on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Kolo Bike Park Afterschool Bike Club
During the amended school schedule, join the Kolo Afterschool Bike Club to grow your skills and enjoy fun afternoons on bikes! Spend the afternoon working on bike handling and riding all the trails and features of the park. Students must be comfortable riding bikes off-road, as this is not a club to teach kids how to ride or for beginners. Kolo is excited to be able to offer local students a great afternoon activity in an open-air environment on over 100 acres. Come shred and enjoy mountain biking with us!- $250/month on Tuesdays & Thursdays
- Ages 5-8 years old: Little Rippers Club from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm
- Ages 9-15 years old: Big Senders Club from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm
