Opening after Hurricane Helene on Friday, Oct 11!

Then open Wed-Sunday 10-5

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we recognize the profound impact that this disaster has had on the southeastern United States, our community, friends and families. We are very fortunate that our staff are safe. Our main location in Asheville has power and little damage which we are also grateful for. As we come together to rebuild and heal, we invite our community to reconnect through outdoor recreation. Engaging in outdoor activities promotes well-being and we invite you to do that with us! Please email with questions: info@adventurecenterofasheville.com. Our phones lines are still down.

Current status at ACA: We have power, but no running water. We do have several port-a-johns and a foot-pump hand washing station.

Spring Break Family Adventures in Asheville, NC

Looking for an awesome family adventure for Spring Break? Come to the Adventure Center of Asheville where you can have four great adventures in place: Asheville Ziplines, Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, KidZip, and Kolo Bike Park for ages 4 and over. We are a perfect family adventure destination just minutes from downtown Asheville currently open Wednesdays to Sundays. Add us on your “Things to Do” List and book today as we often sell out.

For ages 4 and over, we offer the Treetops Adventure Park! We have taken playing in the trees to a new level- actually 7 levels. With 7 aerial trails that range from on the ground (for our youngest climbers) to the Black Trail that is 50 feet off the ground for those who want to be “Ninja Warriors,” we have a level of challenge for you! This is a perfect activity for families and groups who want that bonding experience of “stepping out of your comfort zone” and doing an activity together. With our “safe-lock” clips, we are happy to offer an adventure experience that all can enjoy!

For ages 8 and over, we offer our Asheville Zipline Tours. There are 2 options for our urban zipline course which include our 1,200-foot lines that you can zip side by side with a friend. While zipping you have great skyline views of the mountains and Downtown Asheville. And our experienced zipline guides are with you all the way from ground school (gear up and practice) through the entire course. So no experience needed.

Or for our youngest flyers, our KidZip was created for kids age 4-10. Since young children don’t weigh enough to make it across our Canopy Tour zip lines, they have a park with zip lines just for them! So they can fly up to 25 feet high on zip lines 50-250 feet long.

Or if shredding on the ground is more for you – we have Kolo Bike Park which is a great mountain bike sampler for beginners to experts. Kolo is a mountain bike park with 4 miles of trails, a skills area, 2 pump tracks, Littleville (for our youngest shredders), and loads of skinnies, berms, jumps, drops, tabletops, etc. Bike Rentals are also available including E-bikes.

Reservations are suggested and can be made online on the activity page or by calling 828.225.2921. We are open Wednesdays this Sundays this time of year, including Easter Sunday.

ACA, KOLO OPEN: WED-SUN 10-5
