We are currently hiring fun, energetic, guest service-oriented Guides for our outdoor adventure aerial activities (Asheville Ziplines, KidZip & Treetops Adventure Park), Kolo Bike Park Summer Day Camp Counselors, Kolo Bike Park Techs & Customer Service, and Welcome Center staff at the Adventure Center. And off-road vehicle tour guides at Adventure Mountain for this Spring and Summer!

The Adventure Center of Asheville is not only Asheville’s premier destination for outdoor adventures but also an incredibly fun and rewarding place to work. While each position at ACA plays a unique role in our organization, prior experience guiding or participating in adventure recreation activities is always welcomed but not required. We are committed to training the right individual on the technical skills necessary to do the job and to assist in building on interpersonal skills needed to succeed. Summer Camp Jobs

Kolo Bike Day Camp Counselors- lead our campers at Kolo Bike Park on our 100 acres of pump tracks, trails, skills areas, and jump lines. Bike Skills are required. Ages 18+

Welcome Center Jobs

We are adding to our team of exceptional customer service-driven Welcome Center Staff to work Spring/Summer part-time and full-time hours to greet and check-in our guests, answer the phone for reservations, create daily reports, and stock our Welcome Center shelves. Ages 18+

Aerial Activity Guides

Asheville Treetops Adventure Park/KidZip Guides- Our Treetops Adventure Park and KidZip are our busiest activities all Spring and Summer. Guides host ground school and gear up, then post on the ground at different places at both parks to be able to assist climbing/zipping guests ages 4 and over as needed. Previous experience is not required. Ages 18+
Asheville Canopy Tour Guides- guide our Guests on our Zipline Tours through our two courses on treetops platforms. Previous experience is not required, as we host a rigorous training program to get you ready to guide our trips. Guides host ground school, gear up and lead the zipline trips for ages 8 and over. Ages 18+

Kolo Bike Park

Technician, Rental and Customer Service- part-time seasonal job requires knowledge of mountain bikes, great customer service skills for those riding and renting at Kolo, and the ability to inspect trails and work on them as needed. Ages 18+

Adventure Mountain Off-Road Tour Guides

Provide exemplary guest service to all guests visiting Adventure Mountain Resort Off-Road Tours while operating off-road tours by industry and company standards. Ages 21+

We had the absolute BEST birthday celebration for our daughter turning 9. All she wanted for her birthday for the past six months was to go to a high ropes course. I could honestly not have been more pleased with the treetop adventure, and kids zip experience. The staff were so incredibly friendly And helpful with all of my questions. At first, it feels a little overwhelming when you’re learning some of the technicalities of the equipment used to tether you into the ropes course, but they have the most efficient system for “speed training“ everyone. I Found myself laughing and smiling the whole time at all the fun challenges on the course. And they have all different levels from beginner to advanced. I highly recommend trying the red and black courses (the two most difficult courses). Even my 9 year old wished she could try them because they looked so fun. As for KidZip, I wished I would have done it also as an adult. It’s fun for the whole family. We are already talking to family coming into town over the summer about going back and taking them!

A little on the commercial side, but this place has some great activities. We did mountain biking. The small area was compensated by very well thought out trails and some top quality practice areas. We particularly liked the jumps as we haven’t had much experience with them and it allowed for great practice. This place is great for developing and practicing technical mountain biking skills before heading into the larger (nearby) outdoors.

We always make such fun and positive memories here. I've been with groups several times and the process is as smooth and easy as you could ask for. I've come with just my daughter too and it's an incredible bonding experience. What an amazing opportunity to challenge yourself, support your loved ones and spend a day outside!

My family went with a big group and had an AMAZING time. We were a big enough group that we probably talked to everyone that works there from the front office to the obstacle courses and the ziplines and I can say that everyone was friendly and helpful. We all had an awesome time doing the obstacle courses and the ziplines. I saw how well the rangers handled kids who got nervous or scared. Sarah, who helped us with our group reservation, was especially helpful. I had millions of questions in setting up the reservation for our group and she had all the patience in the world. Can't wait to go back next time we're in the area.

Came to zip line with my son and granddaughters ages 6 and 8. Had a wonderful time. The staff is great, the course is safe and well maintained. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to spend a few hours on a nice day.
