2024 Haunted Trail at the Adventure Center of Asheville

Asheville Plays is excited to bring back The Haunted Trail for its 12th spooktacular season, opening October 4th at The Adventure Center of Asheville. Designed with families in mind, this event offers something for every Halloween enthusiast! With 18 live-action scenes on the Adventure Center’s outdoor trails, The Haunted Trail combines the thrill of live theater with a walk through the woods. Enjoy encounters with both original iconic characters and those inspired by Halloween classics. Meet a live mermaid in Pirates Cove, where 10 voyages aboard the Flying Dutchman’s Ghost Pirate Ship Escape Room ‘arr’ available for purchase each night. (Geared towards families with kids age 3-12.)

Then climb our Treetops Adventure Park with aerial trails that will glow with thousands of lights for ages 4 years and older. The combo pass is available for guests who want to do both.

The festival tent will feature a variety of local businesses including a face painter and balloon artist. The festival tent is also where you can enjoy a hot slice of Mellow Mushroom pizza, a cold beer, or a steaming cup of hot chocolate. A free lil’ ghouls area will be available for little haunters ages 5 and under. On weekend nights, a live concert from the Asheville Rock Academy band will be happening on the stage for guests to enjoy while they wait to enter the show. Every Haunted Trail ticket sold supports MANNA FoodBank through our BOO! to Hunger program, providing four meals for those in need.
