Imagine climbing 40 feet in the air and zipping along a hang glider or a sky kayak in the largest adventure park in Western North Carolina. Then, as the sun starts to set, the challenges become illuminated with over 15,000 colored twinkle and laser lights. Five of the Adventure Park’s aerial trails become illuminated with all their leaves, cables, ropes and platforms.

This mystical climbing experience is offered in conjuction with the Winter Wonder Walk on November 27, December 5 & 12. Our Twilight Climb is a great way to celebrate with friends and family.  It can also be a fun way to have a date!

If you have never been, this is the year to come!  Or if you have been to the Haunted Trail in years past- come enjoy the fun spirit of Halloween. The Haunted Trail is a LIVE immersive outdoor theatrical experience for families (geared towards kids age 3-12.) But all ages can enjoy the spirit of the Haunted Trail!  We also offer our Treetops Park which will be lit with thousands of lights, for an aerial GLOW TRAIL experience. It’s a perfect family-friendly Halloween festival with food and drink, games, vendors, Pirate Cove, and lots of tricks and treats!

The new adventure at Kolo Bike Park is Longboarding. Our afterschool club which is made up of 8 evenings will progress young riders through a variety of skills to get them comfortable on a board. No previous experience expected and we provide the boards and equipment needed. Our Longboarding program will give riders a structured environment to master stance, pushing, and braking. Through coaching and progressive skill development, participants build confidence by improving balance, coordination, focus, and decision making.

Celebrate the Wonder of Winter with a live-action immersive story-walk on an OUTDOOR trail complete with live characters, lights, and a blustery guest, Jack Frost.  The Winter Wonder Walk follows the pages of the storybook of Winterland- full of holiday magic for all ages!  Guests will set out on a quest through the kingdom of Winterland to find Jack Frost and the Sugar Plum Fairy and stop a terrible blizzard while meeting many wonderful characters along the way.  We will bring the pages to life with a live-action immersive story-walk on an outdoor trail complete with live characters, so many twinkling lights and Asheville’s largest snowball fight.  

Climb the Twilight in the Treetops Night Climb on November 27, December 5 & 12 for a magical aerial park tour experience.
